Leakyhomeforum is the place owners of leaky homes, or those who just want to find out if they have a leaky home or how to avoid one come.

Homes in New Zealand have been built by qualified tradesmen for decades, so what happened with 'leaky home syndrome'? A series of mistakes by the government and industry led to a problem that is costing thousands of home owners, millions of dollars.

Leakyhomeforum is where owners can vent their frustrations, and ask for advice. It is not intended as a  wikipedia of leaky-home information, although one wouldn't go astray. It's main objective is to help users find the answers they want, not to list them all on one page (that would be impossible!).  

Leakyhomeforum was first produced as a web log (blog) as a record of the discoveries made by its founder, Steven McAneney.
